Confusing wording

"Will Masterson is the youngest half-brother of Chris and Danny's father through his second marriage" is ambiguous. Depending upon where you pause, it can be read to mean a variety of things. My first read on it yielded the thought that the article was saying that "Will was the youngest half brother of Chris, and was also the half brother of Danny's father, but the relation to Danny's father is through Will's second marriage."

There is a whole description about this type of confusion at Serial comma. I am not sure how to punctuate it, to make it clear to those who speak and read things as I do, without creating the same confusion for people for other English-speaking countries.

I still have no idea what it is actually trying to say. My second attempt came up with: "Will is the youngest half brother of Chris. Will is also Danny's father through Danny's second marriage."

Which of course has a few problems, the first being that Danny is older than Chris.

Can somebody re-word this?

Well, it looks like Chris and Danny are full brothers - they share mother and father. IMDB says that Alanna and Jordy are full siblings and that Alanna and Will are not biologically related, meaning, I think, that Chris, Danny, Jordy and Alanna share a mother; and Chris, Danny, and Will share a father. But I don't know why Alanna and Jordy use Masterson as their name, except to ride on Danny's coattails perhaps. I took a shot at re-writing it along these lines. No, some joker posted a picture of Sanjaya, thereby causing confusion and work for other people. Tvoz |talk 05:32, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dating scene

As far as I know, Chris was recently dating "That 70's Show" co-star Laura Prepon(now currently on ABC's "October Road")...why wasn't this mentioned?...Baldwin91006 01:50, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Weird Commas

"His brother, Danny Masterson plays Milo on the show although, the two did not share any scenes together."

My proposition: "His brother, Danny Masterson, plays Milo on the show, although the two did not share any scenes together."

Edit: Or even, I would replace "although" with "though" or put "although" at the very beginning. 46.126.103.95 (talk) 08:32, 18 November 2012 (UTC) (lKj)[reply]
