Portland Molestation Scandal

This article is heavily biased by omission. A section needs to be added regarding Bishop Power's inaction when confronted with complaints of sexual abuse of children by priests in the Portland area while he was the Archbishop there. Particularly as related in http://www.archdiocesedocuments.org/uploads/PD_0081-0105.pdf , which is a document released by the Archdiocese containing the internal correspondence on the matter. This document contains several letters from parishioners and clergy complaining about Bishop Power's inaction in the case of Fr. Laughlin, who was eventually prosecuted criminally for sexual abuse of altar boys. Other documents on the case can be found here: http://www.archdiocesedocuments.org/Documents.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1typesetter (talkcontribs) 09:03, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
