Stalker claim by People magazine

I reverted

Perennial sources. I couldn't find another source for this information that wasn't just a copy of what was said to People by the friends. NZFC(talk)(cont) 00:01, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply

People stated "But John Romero, the public information officer for the Lakewood, Colo., police, tells PEOPLE that Coleman did not file any reports to his office until the day of her suicide. When officers arrived at her home to perform a welfare check, Romero says, Coleman filed a report of stalking and harassment."
Some newspapers claim people as their source. I think the story can be accepted because more than one source refers to having been informed by the police. The amount of information and wording differs. Can it be undone? Or does a new edit need to be made with more references?

"John Romero, the public information officer for the Lakewood police in Colorado, told The Sun that Coleman filed a harassment report "on the day she died."

The Sun, https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/12364311/netflix-rape-victim-daisy-coleman-stalked-harassment-report-suicide/

"John Romero, public information officer for the Lakewood Police Department, told Oxygen.com that on the day Coleman died, Lakewood Police had been to her home to conduct a welfare check. They arrived around 4 p.m. and stayed for more than hour. “Miss Coleman met with several LPD Agents. All are trained in crisis intervention,” Romero said. “At no point did she indicate to our agents that she wanted or intended to hurt herself. She had a friend with her who confirmed that she had been fine and had not made any suicidal statements.” Romero said at the time of the welfare check, Coleman did file a harassment report, but said the department had not had any contact with her before then."

Honestly I don't think this is reliable information. None of the sources I could find are from a newspaper apart from The Sun and even then The Sun isn't really considered a newspaper but more of a tabloid (Its also not a reliable source to be used on Wikipedia). There is very few sources at all, that I could find, that even mention the harassment report and the ones I did find are all written the same way. I would consider the information unreliable and I personally think it isn't needed on the article at all. NZFC(talk)(cont) 01:39, 23 September 2020 (UTC)

Yoasties (talk) 23:20, 27 September 2020 (UTC) https://www.tmz.com/2020/08/07/daisy-coleman-suicide-gunshot-wellness-check-mother-police/ on the seventh Jihn Romero did not mentionany harassment claim at all, only four days later do the other reports pop up. Would need verification. comment added by Yoasties (talkcontribs) 00:19, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
