Play Dead Proposal

"Play Dead" wasn't actually a single from Debut. You'll note it is not on the track listing. It is, in fact, the only single from the soundtrack to the film The Young Americans. I propose somebody with much better editing skills than I remove references to "Play Dead" from the main article. There's also some clean up that will need to be done in some of the related entries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.85.100.165 (talk) 08:06, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled

I moved Debut to Debut (album) because a couple of other articles refer to the currently non-existent general article. Anyone know what a "debut" is?

Lyrics booklet

Is it normal for the lyrics booklet for Debut to not have the lyrics for one of the songs (specifically, track 5, Like Someone In Love). My booklet skips directly from Track 4 to Track 6, so I'm missing two pages (which I assume would be one page with lyrics and the other would have a photograph). ¿Print error? ¿Normal? Rolling Stone rating

Acclaimedmusic.net is not a notable source. At the bottom of the page, it seems that most of the information is user-submitted, which is makes it fail as a

reliable source. Also, changing the rating in the ratings-box would be incorrect. The cite still says 2 out of 5. Regardless of Acclaimedmusic being used, I would rather try and find the original source in the first place. Andrzejbanas (talk) 22:31, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply

The Rolling Stone Album Guide was released in 2004 and they revised the album rating to 3.5/5 stars. The Wikipedia page of the album guide has a link to rateyourmusic.com. This website gives you access to the entire guide. I suggest we have both the original and revised review cited and I will refer to the rateyourmusic.com website as it is the link provided on the album guide's wiki page. Second album ?

This is Bjork's second studio album. She created an album in the late 70s in Iceland under this name. Please don't change it. Andrzejbanas (talk) 21:59, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Some actually think this is the third album, considering also Gling-Gló. Others think the 70s album and Gling-Gló were created under different artist alias 'Björk Guðmundsdóttir'. But let's just stick to the official album count, which doesn't include her Icelandic juvenilia and jazz releases. Officially her debut album is Debut, Post was the second in all the music press, Homogenic was the third, Vespertine was announced as fourth, Medúlla as fifth etc. This is the official numbering, let's respect it. Please see also Post album talk page. Shimenawa (talk) 11:40, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Country

@EditorE: "OK, but removing a mention Icelandic chart peak is not acceptable BECAUSE that's the country where she's from. It's common sense."

I don't understand - could you explain? Thanks.

Extension of critic lists

Like some old releases, this article have a overly rank of critic lists. Based on this consensus the number should be limited to 10. --Apoxyomenus (talk) 18:11, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
