Failed Good Article

This doesn't deserve its own article. joturner 22:29, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I hate to use the systemic bias reply, which is overused IMO, but if Senate of Barbados or Senate of Zimbabwe get their own articles, why can't the Malaysian one? If the argument is that the article duplicates some of Parliament of Malaysia's content, well, the article will have to be broken out in the future, making the merge pointless. Copyvio?

Take a look at http://www.senat.fr/senatsdumonde/english/malaisie.html. The similarities aren't an accident. __earth 08:21, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Article move

NWill moved page "Dewan Negara" to "Senate (Malaysia)" without discussion. Do the regular editors of this article agree or disagree with this move? If there is agreement for the move, then I suggest a further move to "Senate of Malaysia" so the the article name can be linked without piping. If editors prefer the original name, it should be moved back. Ground Zero | t 17:50, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The move was part of a massive "campaign" which led to NWill being temporarily blocked. As the move was controversial as well as undiscussed, I have reverted it. If anyone thinks there is a case for renaming the article, it should be formalized using the WP:Requested moves process. Favonian (talk) 21:24, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
