Date of appointment

Let me just note that I don't know the precise date when he was appointed

General of the Army. It must have happened between the time the rank was created in June, 1940 and the German invasion in June, 1941. So it might have been in the year 1941, and thus the DYK comment on the Main Page might be off by one year. Does anyone know the precise date? Balcer 21:50, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply

Found reference which gives the date as February 22, 1941. [1]. Balcer 21:58, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

His name

Was he known at all as Ivan Pavlov? He is listed at Ivan Pavlov (disambiguation) and I was unsure if he should be deleted from it. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 08:35, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Charges

The Russian version of this entry provides the full charge and it clearly does not contain the treason, so I clarified it in the text. --Redjsteel (talk) 19:50, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
