ALSO: the fact (?) of Jürgens and Sinatra having been born "just a day apart" is irrelevant in this context. Curd Jürgens wrote in his memoirs (which were in German and which I read many years ago) that he had had a car accident as a young man and could never have any children. This was well known. Therefore Eva Bartok's pregnancy raised eyebrows in the press and speculation who the father might be. I have a vague memory of that, because I was still a child. Most speculators seemed to believe that Dean Martin was the father, but in those years you jeopardized the livelihood of someone who you suggested had committed adultery. The women's organisations would have 'killed' that person. Nowadays, everybody seems to do what they feel like - and nobody gives a damn, fascinating change. Geza Kovacs was an hungarian officer, thus ist irritating to speak of a "Nazi officer". Maybe he was member of the hungarian fascistic Arrow Cross Party, but in relationship to concentration camp most readers will think about german SS officers. 217.228.73.56 (talk) 13:04, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Note the Waffen SS became multi-national in its recruitment after outbreak of WWII and Hungarians were serving there. Also there were many Hungarians of German origin.Cloptonson (talk) 04:50, 13 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
