All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box). Should this not be merged with Algarve? Any data relating specifically to the political function of the district can be put in as a footnote in the article on the town Faro, Portugal, but mostly the info here is just duplicating that at Algarve and can be deleted. --Doric Loon 17:22, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

They aren't the same thing, while Algarve is a cultural region, the district of Faro is an administrative division of the territory. Mário 18:44, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
