Maybe I'm missing a step here, but given that Timor and the Great Australia Bight are on opposite sides of australia, how does "sailed from Timor on 13 November 1801, across the Great Australian Bight and reached Tasmania on 13 January 1802" works? Circéus (talk) 16:40, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
