GLX, the Global LNG Exchange → GLX Digital Limited – The name of the company has been changed, see https://abr.business.gov.au/AbnHistory/View?id=38608905308. Also note that the website http://glx-lng.com redirects to https://glxdigital.com Roscoe Coltrane (talk) 06:47, 26 May 2021 (UTC) Relisting. ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 10:18, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply

Hi There!

I've made significant changes to the GLX Digital wikipedia page. To see these changes, please sync with my sandbox.

I've made these changes because since the original page was created the company has completely changed – it is no longer based in Singapore, it's original product is no longer offered and instead, the company new develops and designs two new products (launched in 2021 and 2022 respectively). I made the following changes:

The creation of a company infobox and logo Change to the short company description New company description Addition of GLX CARGO product Addition of GLX CONNECT product Changes to the management section Addition of Company History section Additions to the references section

While I do work for GLX Digital, I am a journalist by trade and have endeavoured to keep this new copy completely objective. Hopefully you're satisfied with the tone and copy changes!

Thank you for your time.

Question: JessZoiti, what do you want editors to review? The suggested edits below, or your sandbox? ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 12:58, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @ARandomName123i was hoping editors could review the suggested edits below. Thank you! 49.255.136.34 (talk) 00:49, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested edits to page: 16 April 2024

The current information provided for GLX Digital is no longer current or correct. The company is no longer a liquefied natural gas exchange in Singapore. The GLX Platform, also known as the Global LNG Marketplace, no longer exists. In its place, the company offers two products, GLX Connect and GLX Cargo.

Also, the current Chairman is no longer Rob Cole. It is now Philip Byrne, former executive vice president marketing and trading, commercial and business development at Santos Energy.

Suggest deleting the "GLX Platform" section.

Suggest deleting the Management section.

Suggest rewording the into to something similar to:

"GLX Digital was established in 2016 and is headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. The company develops and sells software as a service (SaaS) applications for the commodities market. The company offers two products: GLX Cargo and GLX Connect. Both applications are provided under subscription license agreements and are private meaning they are wholly owned and managed, including customer and staff access, by the customer."

Suggest adding a Company History section that addresses the company's previous Singapore location and product offering. Suggest copy similar to:

"GLX Digital was established by CEO and Founder, Damien Criddle, for the purpose of developing workflow management software solutions for the global Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) industry.

In 2016 the company launched the GLX Platform, also known as the Global LNG Marketplace, which allowed subscribed members to post offers to sell or requests to buy LNG cargoes, and then let other participants anonymously bid on proposals.

GLX Digital discontinued The Global LNG Marketplace in July 2021. In July 2021 the company launched GLX Connect, a digital tender and auction solution, which is now used in the LNG (https://thewest.com.au/business/trading-platform-glx-digital-making-plays-to-diversify-beyond-lng-ng-b881706977z), lithium (https://www.miningnews.net/energy-minerals/news/1414901/pilbaras-lithium-auction-major-success) and iron ore (https://www.afr.com/companies/mining/fortescue-tests-new-iron-ore-price-discovery-frontier-20211128-p59cu8) commodity segments.

GLX Digital launched GLX CARGO in June 2022.

I have offered a few third party references for validation - these are all publishing companies and are unaffiliated with the company.

If it helps, and editors agree, the following info could be placed in an infobox:
Trade name: GLX Digital Ltd
Company type: Publicly unlisted
Industry: Commodities software, LNG, oil and gas, lithium, iron ore
Founded: 2016
Key people: Damien Criddle, Philip Byrne
Products: GLX Cargo, GLX Connect
Website: www.glxdigital.com JessZoiti (talk) 05:26, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And last comment, the short description for GLX Digital is currently "Singaporean Liquified Natural Gas Exchange", which is also now inaccurate. JessZoiti (talk) 05:30, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
