On a recent documentary, he is shown conducting various modern and non-modern repertoire with a baton. 155.143.218.204 01:50, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yet, often he does not use a baton. In the symphony Gubaidulina wrote for him, for example, the conductor cannot use a baton (see the score). CRCulver 15:56, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- OK. Is that an unusual thing for a conductor to do? JackofOz 02:05, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
Some "free" advertising on this page?
00:54, 6 January 2010 190.184.75.202 (talk) . . (8,751 bytes) (+1,041) . . (undo) This adds the information about the documentary about music in the USSR. The whole section seems much more focused on the documentary than on Rozhdestvensky himself! This seems as though someone was looking for some free promotion of the documentary. 113.126.89.211 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.150.128.186 (talk) 14:52, 12 September 2016 (UTC)

Phrase might not be encyclopaedic
The section under the sub-heading interviews uses the phrase "On a lighter note". I wonder whether this phrase is really encyclopaedic in style. Vorbee (talk) 20:08, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
