historic architect

There is a George H. Miller with a number of NRHP-listed works, perhaps not the same person as the IM Pei firm partner, and other George Millers also have NRHP works. These NRHP-listed works (by all of them) are:

  • Bloomingburg, NY
    Miller,George
  • Bloomington, IL
    Miller,George
  • Normal, IL
    Miller,Georgett (perhaps a typo for George H.)
  • Bloomington, IL
    Miller,George H.
  • Algona, IA
    Miller, George L.
  • Bloomington, IL
    Miller,George
  • Defiance, OH
    Miller,George
  • Edwards House, KY 745 Exie, KY Miller,George
  • Bloomington, IL
    Miller,George
  • Pana, IL
    Miller, George H.
  • Bloomington, IL
    Miller,George H.
  • Rochester, WA
    Miller,George
  • Charleston, IL
    Miller,George H.
  • Tampa, FL
    Miller, George A.
  • Gibson City, IL
    Miller, George H.,
  • Lakeland, FL
    Miller, George A.
  • St. Petersburg, FL
    Miller,George A.

One or more might turn out to be an architect rather than a builder or engineer, and need articles, and require some hatnote or other disambiguation from the AIA president one. --doncram 03:57, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It seems the Florida-based George A. Miller was a building contractor, not an architect, per http://www.marriottmodules.com/landing/modMisc/TPASR/overview_01.html. --doncram 04:09, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Update almost three years later: The George A. Miller link goes to a disambiguation page, and there is no article about the contractor who is probably notable. --doncram 19:33, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

biographical info concerns

In this edit i removed some assertions about the I.M.Pei-related firm architect that were not supported by sources, that had been added by a non-logged in contributor. To the contributor, I'm sorry but as an encyclopedia Wikipedia cannot publish information like that in live article pages. Per our policies on biographies of living persons (see

wp:PRIMARYSOURCES. If you have primary or other sources that you can discuss here, that would be okay/good. Or consult with me off-line by emailing me (can click somewhere on my User page) or consult with others. Hope this makes sense to you. --doncram 19:33, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply
