Deputy Governor

Is there a suitable place to start listing Duty Governors? This appointments appear (at least from the example I'm looking at of Humphrey

Mynors) to be longer-term and less politcal, with the Governor being a figurehead more at the whim of the current governemt administration. --Sladen (talk) 21:08, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply

Empty article

This article is simply a list of governors. It tells us nothing about what the governor of the bank of England actually does. We could easily assume that the governor does very little. We might be wrong, but that is often the common perception.

I suggest renaming this article as 'List of governors of the bank of England'. 92.12.84.106 (talk) 11:29, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
