Reason
Is there a good reason to build a 300 mts tall tower in Chile, a land proclive to earthquakes? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.55.116.19 (talk) 04:21, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, Santiago lies in a valley, which is almost totally covered by the city. Space is getting very expensive, and therefore they are starting to build up high towers. Of course it's also a bit of "show-off" about the current economic rise of the country. The earthquakes are no major issue for the high towers (rather an issue on historic buildings). Torre Titanium was already finished when the big earthquake came up, no damage was reported at all. --194.203.215.219 (talk) 12:59, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

- Comment - the real move request here is from "Gran Torre Costanera" to "Torre Gran Costanera", as the nominator moved Gran Torre Costanera to Torre Gran Costanera (building) earlier. — Amakuru (talk) 22:13, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
- Support - however, despite the above confusion I am happy to support as it does appear from Google that "Torre Gran Costanera" is the correct title. Only SkyScraper city has it differently. — Amakuru (talk) 22:14, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Diagram
Add a height comparison diagram with other tall buildings. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.47.76.143 (talk) 21:24, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Name
The name of the tower is "Torre 2" (Tower 2): http://www.costaneracenter.cl/oficinas/disponibilidad_torre02.html, I propose the name "Costanera Center Torre 2" (Costanera Center Tower 2) as it appears here: http://www.costaneracenter.cl/oficinas/pdf/pdfdp.pdf. --Cstnr15 (talk) 12:48, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
