I removed this article from Category:People from California for the moment. The only mention of California in the article is that he died in California, but it's not clear or verified from the article's information how much time he spent there. It's certainly possible that he spent a lot of his life in the state, but the article should state it with a verifiable reference. Dugwiki 22:10, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
