The Dictionary of Scientific Biography provided the clue that HP Bowditch is known for his development of the research-teaching context in Harvard medical education. It lists these students as notable: Warren P. Lombard, Joseph W. Warren, Isaac Ott, G. M. Garland, and William F. Southward. They do not seem to be yet in WP.
