Collier's (1921) mentions a conflict with federal authorities with regard to pro-German propaganda in his newspapers. I am very tentative about including this since Dictionary of American Biography thinks him judicious, and mentions no federal conflict. But I continue to develop this article, and leave the claim in for now. Bob Burkhardt (talk) 14:12, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
@Bob Burkhardt: Maybe we should cite this as from Collier's? That might clarify what the possible problem/discrepancy is. Thellomerca (talk) 17:27, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Seems like a good idea. I haven't used a footnote citation, but just mentioned the source in the sentence. Bob Burkhardt (talk) 14:48, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I looked at the Collier's two sentences--they got it wrong. I replaced with info from NY Times. [I can send a copy of NY Times article to anyone--it's in Proquest] Rjensen (talk) 15:45, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
