Can we get a better picture or remove the current one?  Augu  Maugu ♨ 09:25, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There are no better ones in Wikimedia Commons - I agree, and looked for an individual image from this weekend. Would have to be obtained under permission from one of his sponsors (Nomura, Srixon) and uploaded to Commons, unless one of our editors of this article has a personal picture which can be quickly uploaded after waiving copyright. I sent an email request to Srixon, but this may not be produce a response. Zefr (talk) 15:17, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to try to get a better photo as well...as you said above, it has proved difficult to find anything...thanks to Ortizesp for getting a much cleaner crop Thesoupwizard (talk) 23:53, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Made this edit with a new image provided by Cleveland Golf-Srixon, although not with the explicit copyright release requested. Commons admins will assess, so the image is pending until approved. Zefr (talk) 23:29, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I see you copy-pasted the body of an email there, but you need to go through OTRS to have the license be accepted as valid (will be deleted in 7 days if not). Would be a shame to go back to the previous image. — Goszei (talk) 00:22, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also, once you have a pending OTRS ticket, put this template so that it isn't deleted for 'no license' before the ticket gets accepted. See [1] for more info. — Goszei (talk) 23:19, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Goszei - From the Commons file, it looks like the image license has been granted. Is that correct, and is this final and approved? I made similar requests for Masters images from other publications and companies, so may ask again for your guidance. Thanks. Zefr (talk) 01:14, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I see AllegedlyHuman removed the image today as a copyright violation. The OTRS process appears to be complete and approved, according to a section under the image file on Commons. Zefr (talk) 01:17, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I made some edits to the Commons page to get the situation in order. When the ticket is reviewed (current queue 13 days), an OTRS volunteer will mark the page if the email validates the licensing. — Goszei (talk) 01:22, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If it's OTRS, then it's legit. I've added it back. (In any case, Commons will figure it out soon enough anyway.)
