There is a to-do list on the talk page of the IIT Template regarding notable people, fests etc. If someone were to look into it and exhaust it, it would provide for some good inter-likning of IIT wiki pages.
Creation of articles of Individual Residence halls by including their history, archtecture, location, geographical data etc because its common practice in other foreign Wiki Pages.
Gap-filling the Area and Director column in the institute list.
Gap filling in the enrollment table and recursively adding the same data to the respective IIT's main wiki.
Creation of Articles of Deans, Heads of IITs.
Creation of articles of individual schools and departments within IITs
It would also not be not-feasible to have an individual template for each individual IIT
Adding stats like Undergrad and Post grad and Faculty counts in a summarised table form on the Main IIT page either as part of the Locations table or as a standalone table by sourcing this data from the individual IIT pages.
Our IITs Are absolutely well known for their grand Fests and that brings a lot of value to the table. A few fests don thave articles as of yet. It would be good to have them too.
The Caste of Merit: Engineering Education in India, Ajantha S., Harvard University Press has fascinating data on the role played by caste in these institutes esp. focusing on IIT Madras. Anticipating no opposition, I will try adding relevant details. TrangaBellam (talk) 21:15, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
