Links a second time

Shaheen76, I don't see how putting the links for the parties in a second time cleans up the article. Why do you feel this way? Tfine80 18:16, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Use elsewhere?

I note that Traffic light coalition has been adopted outside Germany but has anyone tried using "Jamaica coalition" for a conservative-liberal-green government elsewhere in the world? The current Irish government (Fianna Fáil-Progressive Democrats-Green Party) could qualify but unless the term is in broader use it's OR to apply it. State level

This coalition has already governed at the state level in Brandenburg and Bremen.

However the relevant Wikipedia articles imply that both have always been SPD bastions. I thought the current CDU-Green coalition in Hamburg was the first time those two parties have been in the same government? Timrollpickering (talk) 11:56, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Racist

Jamaica denotes exoticism? --92.75.199.222 (talk) 22:32, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As the term can currently be heard very often in German news, I dare say that this possible coalition seems hardly more exotic than the Ampelkoalition. People talking about "Jamaica" in this meaning obviously think of the colours in the Jamaican flag rather than of the island or its inhabitants. — Jochen64 (talk) 01:12, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
