Original Research
I have a large collection of correspondence involving Janaki Ammal obtained from the University of Michigan Bentley Archives. Based on the information present in these letters, i would like to add numerous details about her life and work. I would be very happy to get help from other wiki editors in properly updating this information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nagarjun53 (talk • contribs) 18:50, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
- I think the best approach would be to scan and publish this archival material with the permissions required. It would be even better if the original Archive could do it as the provenance would be properly established. It could then serve as a verifiable reference to you and other researchers/readers/editors of this article. Note also the Wikipedia Policy against uncited original research - ]
Have applied for the required permissions from the Bentley Archives. Once granted, i will share the information. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nagarjun53 (talk • contribs) 00:12, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
The John Innes archives have provided permission. I will be making numerous photo uploads (have obtained the required permissions) and edits over the next few days. I am still relatively new to wikipedia. Please let me know if i do something wrong. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nagarjun53 (talk • contribs) 07:04, 30 September 2016 (UTC)

All other sources refer to her as Edavaleth Kakkat Janaki Ammal; should the article be changed accordingly? Languagehat (talk) 15:27, 28 August 2014 (UTC) Nah yo — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.36.140.30 (talk) 04:57, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
