Hebei, the extent of JJJ

There are two rivalling definitions. One simply defines JJJ as Beijing + Tianjin + Hebei provinces, i.e. all of Hebei, even those areas far removed from Beijing and Tianjin. Others say Beijing + Tianjin + parts of Hebei, usually leaving it vague which parts of Hebei are included and which are excluded. This page has a map consistent with JJJ being Beijing, Tianjin, and all Hebei divisions bordering either Beijing or Tianjin, plus the Hebei capital region Shijiazhuang. It is a sensible definition, but is it the official one? jax (talk) 11:00, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Updating sorely needed; transport

The transport/infrastructure section in particular needs a lot of attention, it is already outdated.

I'd suggest that the focus should be on infrastructure that is crossing at least one province boundary, and that projects wholly inside Beijing, Tianjin, or Hebei should get a more cursory mention. jax (talk) 11:08, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

etymology

what is the etymology; it needs to be included.68.151.25.115 (talk) 06:01, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Does Jingjinji extend as far as Shijiazhuang and Cangzhou?

Just wondering if there are any sources to back this up. They seem rather far south to be integrated into a megalopolis. Muzzleflash (talk) 14:10, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
