Social organisation template problem

This is the data, but the template used omits the offspring. Anyone capable of fixing this?

Nishidani, This (above) might be what you want. It is a bit hard to tell. Cheers · · · Peter (Southwood) (talk): 19:44, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Social organisation data quality

There's clearly some inconsistencies in the data as shown in the article right now. Specifically, these Offspring sections don't appear (in any spelling) in those of their parents:

  • Tanagree
  • Chingaree

Was there a typo in the source(s)?

Also, as Mathews used a fairly consistent orthography later on, in which vowels took "Italian" values, my guess is that these two sections ought to be:

  • Tungaree
  • Chungalee

respectively. yoyo (talk) 05:35, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, what do we know of Mathews' informants for this data? Since his many field researches were in south-eastern Australia, and he relied on many correspondents e.g. Strehlow for data on Aboriginal groups further from home, do the sources (1900 and 1908) - or perhaps any of his notebooks - name his informants? yoyo (talk) 05:52, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
