Deletions

Could the user who deleted a large part of this page please explain why?

I am working on improving and extending this page. I am aware of some of the limitations, such as lack of references, poor layout and problems with the parts on bridges. I will improve these over the next few weeks.

Goldsborough Hall deleted as this is a commercial link to a hotel web site. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johndhall (talkcontribs) 05:54, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of works

I have put back the full list of works as is a basic resource not easily obtainable elswwhere. John

Wikifying needed

It would be useful if one could wikify all the locations worked on by Carr using [[.]] - some of them have articles; some do not. Without [[.]], we shall never know which is already there!

Edits 2012

I will ass some more wiki links to the list of works as mentioned above. I have changed the order of the works to place domestic buildings first because these are the buildings most likely to be open to the public. Such as Harewood. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johndhall (talkcontribs) 08:25, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Best known work

I put a sentence in the lead saying Carr was best known for Buxton Crescent and Harewood House, but only because these were listed in the infobox. Do people agree with this? What do the sources say? Hallucegenia (talk) 10:01, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
