I have removed a reference to

Benjamin Latrobe being a pupil, but have no evidence on which to base my doubts and therefore have done nothing about that. Peterkingiron 22:11, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply

I think I was wrong in my doubts about

Cement

CAN THIS ARTICLE CROSS-REFERENCE WITH THE INVENTION OF CEMENT?

Maybe, but his role in this field was one of researching and accounting for the properties of existing materials: none of his work on this can be described as "invention". . . .LinguisticDemographer 12:50, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Biography

I have added to the "see Also" section, the 1981 biography of John Smeaton. This is a subsantial work edited by a professor at Imperial College but does not appear to have been used.Bebington (talk) 09:48, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is not a See also link which are internal wikilinks - I have created a Further reading section for it. Keith D (talk) 11:58, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
