  • I've attempted to improve this article but the old & new geological nomenclature goes way beyond my comfort zone -- it might be improved by being refocused on the modern nomenclature, with a redirect. (However "Keuper marl" is still widely used in literature from, for example, Natural England.) I can't find any articles covering the new geological nomenclature, but I'm not sure where to look. I intend making 'Keuper marl' a redirect page once I have added a little more material to the page at Mercia Mudstone Group - the term which has largely superseded 'Keuper' within the British geological succession. The term will be found in the literature for many years to come so it is important that those reading such material including maps can understand what it referred to and how the current subdivsions and nomenclature work. cheers Geopersona (talk) 17:28, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Convert page to a redirect

It's long past the time that relevant content from this page (such as it may be) was transferred to Mercia Mudstone Group and this page converted to a redirect to that page. I'd do it but am unsure about dealing with page history etc. Geopersona (talk) 05:06, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
