Transition to Broadcasting
This article doesn't provide any information regarding how or why Herbstreit transitioned into a broadcaster after what is described as a solid athletic career. Was Herbstreit drafted by any NFL team? Was there an injury? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaedglass (talk • contribs) 18:10, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
He went undrafted because he was a 1 year starter option QB. Satanico (talk) 18:32, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
Shouldn't this be added to the article ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.192.236.216 (talk) 02:05, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
IRS
This may have happened to him, but I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest he's not "known" for this. He's known for being a football player and a broadcaster. OJ Simpson was "known" for a legal event. 76.187.152.38 (talk) 06:07, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. It may be notable, but he's not "known" for it -- maybe if you work for the IRS that's true. Kcchief915 (talk) 21:37, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Kirk Herbstreit article edits of November 8 2019 with numerous curious "Citation needed" added
Nonstopdrivel
I appreciate the edit you did on Kirk's page. However, I am wondering what criteria was used to insert so many "Citation Needed"s. Aren't a few of these "Citations Needed" a bit unnecessary?
I removed one "citation needed" in the sentence "Herbstreit co-hosts College GameDay with Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, and Lee Corso." This is a very established fact. If there is any question, using the embedded link to "College GameDay", Kirk's participation and the participation of his co-host's is clearly documented.
