Irony

There is quite an irony about this. 99.251.192.204 (talk) 16:21, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please keep accidents in perspective

While the accident that killed the young man is a tragedy, lets keep things NPOV. We do NOT know if he was drunk or sober or what his level of fault is. Based on current information he may be a drunk driver guilty of manslaughter or he may be another innocent victim of an accident. He may yet face charges and will likely face a civil suit, but those are things outside our control or influence. The facts will play out in time and we should let those facts come out before we POST to Wikipedia. There are people more famous then Garrison who have killed people in auto accidents (like Laura Bush) but they were never charged. Remember, you have every right to make your own conclusions, but if you post here, make sure you are posting FACT and not opinion. Michaelh2001 08:34, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious

He has pleaded guilty to drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter, so the above comment is outdated. I think it unfair criticism of Rev. Simpson to say that he has changed Garrison's behavior; what? from a thief to a manslaughterer? The sentence, although sourced (albeit outdated) should probably be deleted as

WP:BLP. Any thoughts? Carlossuarez46 01:11, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply

Language standards of an encyclopedia

I don't consider "...fellow prisoners had it in for him" to be a proper formulation for an encyclopedia. charon (talk) 11:32, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
