It is not possible nor is it necessary. There was a large discussion a while back concerning the uploading and featuring of screenshots onto episode list articles, and it was decided that it was a violation of copyright.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 22:59, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There was an article in the Wikipedia Signpost (here) about this debate. Apparently, the English title for episode 10 makes no sense whatsoever (well, at least to me), I suggest changing it to "Who was your brother, really?" Any thoughts?

"The Summary of Stories, Made by Gathering Pieces of Memory"...

総集片 (Soshuhen) means "Summary Piece". "The Summary of Stories, Made by Gathering Pieces of Memory" isn't a correct translation, it's a loose expansion. To the point of completely lacking the original meaning. And for the record, three little kanji can't come even close to meaning a sentence THAT long. I'm not going to change that, though. Okay. However the right Japanese word is 総集「編」, therefore creators changed charactor intentionaly. In fact, in the preview cut, the narrator said "gathering pieces of memory".

Finaly, the word 「総集片」 does not exist in Japanese word and we cannot translate the word directly and also cannot simply translate to "summary episode". This is the reason why the translation is too long for three letters. Rider of Midland 10:11, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

総編 just means "summary", 片 (as in 欠片 or kakera) means "piece/fragment". Obviously the intention is to combine to two words to express an intended meaning. Therefore, we can assume within reason that it can be translated as "Summary Piece" or "Summary Fragment". See? I can translate it even though it's a word that doesn't exist.

Also, the "gathering pieces of memory" party of the preview narration is just that, part of the narration. In fact, the whole narration is translated "Gathering pieces of the memories of past battles, I'll show you, this is a true..." and then the episode title. You can't assume it's part of the title, considering it's read differently from the given kanji for the title. That's blatant misinformation.--Robtf 03:40, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What does "Summary piece" mean? Do English Speakers use it? I think it has no meaning and we should not use such a phrase. 「総集片」 does not have such funny sense. Japanese can make a short word have long meaning by using only a few kanji characters, so we sometimes are not able to translate short Japanese word to short English phrase. Actually in Japanese 「総集片」 does not mean "summary pieces".

"Summary Piece" is what you call terrible English, no one would use it in regular English speech. Now let's break up the title. 総 means "a whole" or "total". 集 means "gather". 片 means "piece" or "one part". Perhaps it is supposed to mean "A Whole Gathered from Pieces", and the title was chosen to be written that way so it would be a homophone for 総集編 meaning "summary", as just a little tease at how the episode is a recap. However, that element is lost in the translation to English, and there is absolutely no way to preserve it.--58.107.102.38 13:10, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A number of the episodes have different English titles listed on

Some of them are the same as the Bandai DVDs, but they differ slightly. For example: Episode 8 is "Later, buddy..." instead of "FAREWELL COMRADES" (or whatever the fansubbers translated it into)
