Split Article
Essentially what I am proposing is that we undo the merge that formed this article from the original "
WP:OR
content that brings down the quality of the article as a whole (note the article's multiple issues tag in place since 2018), with most contributors to the article disinterested in the "Rebel groups by state" sub-section. I would propose at this point that we pursue one of three options:
), which also undoes the earlier merge but keeps the better sourced list in the article's current location, and spins out the 2nd section into its own article. The contents of which may need to be modified slightly to facilitate this.
, replacing it with a statement that there are too many such rebel groups to track effectively, as they are constantly changing.
Option 4: We keep the article just as it currently is.
My preference is for: Option 1 - As we do not lose any content this way, but please feel free to add additional suggestions if you can think of an additional way to restructure the article's content or means of improving it overall. - Wiz9999 (talk) 22:17, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Seeing as the discussion has gone an entire month without any response to my request for a discussion on the matter I will be implementing my proposal of Option 1 now. - Wiz9999 (talk) 01:02, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I do believe the issues raised during this deletion discussion have been resolved already. The deletion request should be closed off. - Wiz9999 (talk) 11:10, 11 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Should the People's Defence Force of Myanmar be considered a rebel group or not since they're the armed wing of the legitimate government of Myanmar?--Garmin21 (talk) 18:27, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
