I have added the electoral wards to the areas in Brent, separately from the others. As many of the functions and work in the Borough is divided along Ward lines (such as policing, area forums, municipal work etc), I suggest forming a new list comprising only the electoral wards (i.e. removing the other areas from the list). With regard to all those links from "brent.gov.uk";

1. it seems to me that they are all available as navigation buttons from the site's own front page.
2. it would appear that those listed are very different (shortcuts) from the dynamic objects used by Brent's own website - these are likely to change frequently and not remain static - creating maintenance issues here
3. It is
   not
   our responsibility to provide an alternate index to the Brent gov site. This is akin to repeating basic information on the Brent site, such as when individual streets put out their recycling.

You should leave to Brent council what they do best, and use the wikipedia pages to provide the kind of encyclopaedic information that is not available on the Brent site. I'll also put this for discussion on the Brent talk page, in order for others to give their opinion. Things are done here through consensus - not edit wars, or edit summaries. "Brent South has extreme differences from Brent North including gangs, poverty and crime particularly in Harlesden and Stonebridge but Church End, the press road area of Neasden, Wembley Central and Kensal Green also remain a problem for the borough. Brent East Particularly the South Kilburn Estate and Willesden also have extreme difficulties." Quite apart from the poor writing (e.g. capitalisation and punctuation) and bad geography (Wembley Central is in Brent North), this section's sweeping statements aren't substantiated. I've moved it to the talk page. There are areas of wealth and poverty and high and low crime throughout the borough. Assaults by street gangs and conflicts between gangs also occur in all constituencies, hitting the headlines at different times. If generalisations about differences within the borough must be made, they need to be substantiated by statistics and published studies, not "local knowledge" or general impressions gleaned from the headlines of the local press. If someone is going to revert the leadership back to Ann John, can I suggest they contact Brent Labour Party who elected Councillor Butt as leader on the 16th May. I assume someone thought I was making fun. Hi. I'm very sorry about that. Yes, the unusual name in question did make me think that it was vandalism - specifically anti-Islamic vandalism. Might I suggest putting a

citation by it next time? If something's cited (and the citation is either inserted with the change or the date in the citation is updated), then I do check out the citation if at all possible (and if I can't, I generally leave it alone for someone with more knowledge of the situation). The rainfall totals shown seem too high. The rest of London has annual precipitation of around 600-700mm. Why does Brent have so much more? If the difference is real, it would be better to explain why Brent gets so much rain.

The above widely published dataset records all births to non-UK born mothers. While stating non-nationally born population is notable and widely used in global articles, live births to non-UK born mothers is not widely used in writing about other local authorities, outside of remits of general service and language provision. Brent in 2019 figured at the highest by this measure, with 75.2% of births to mothers born abroad, compared to the English average of 29.2%. The country of birth of mothers for children born has been recorded at birth registration since April 1969. Given the 2021 census will when finally published give similar insights I am sure from my years of work here right to hold off mentioning this measure. The percentage is below 5% in five English councils (Torridge, Redcar & Cleveland, Copeland, South Staffs, Barrow) and that is equally disparate. The percentage for any local authority has never been so high and that is also something which may be reported, or may be brushed away in the spirits of the times. A WP:POLICY can be found for obscuring any money-making concerted population growth policy as the planet ranks less important than harmfully urbanising England. Such a stark statistic will be suppressed by the admins and a virtue-signalling yet profoundly backward majority. The irony is the left-behind communities are quite obviously those that so strongly deviate from the norm percentages either way in many cases. It is also known that for cohesion we in England do not report estimates of residents who lack a status entitling them to work in the UK, which does play a vast role in such demography.- Adam37 Talk 19:38, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
