The addition/deletion of Transport Links as is being done for this railway station in Melbourne, Australia, is a major problem as far as I can see. In Sydney, Australia, at least 20 stations have had such information removed by another editor who threatens to have any editor who returns such information, banned. There appear to be different interpretations of

• The issues aren't exactly the fact there are bus connections that exist, but using Wikipedia as a travel guide by posting links to timetables for every connecting route and their termini. Users should visit the specific transport authority for this information. Any of the articles related to stations on the London underground the routes are only briefly mentioned. We shouldn't have different rules for train stations in other metro's. Ajf773 (talk) 03:54, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

On the other hand Dutch stations like Amsterdam Centraal station contain very comprehensive information about bus services although they do not contain references. If this was to be set as the standard ie no timetable references, then the information for Mernda should be retained but only the references removed. But I am not suggesting this as the compromise at the moment until a greater consensus is obtained. And the other issue I have is that just a single station is selected for having this deleted instead of deleting it from all stations. Fleet Lists (talk) 04:47, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have carried my bike on the Mernda train for six months, so it is no longer under construction. I can't find a record of its actual opening date but a press release from Public Transport Victoria said it was due to open on 26 August 2018.
