Since it seems to be one of the very first transmission lines, it may be worth to keep it. I will have a look into the literature for further information. There seem to be two articles which describe that line. Rissik (1934). Some aspects of the electrical transmission of power by means of direct current at very high voltages. J IET, 75(451).
