Can someone look into this and confirm she's without a doubt 1990 and not 1989? Because a number of reliable sources have her as a 1989 birth. Only sources I see for 1990 are ones saying she graduated in 2013 and a year early but this doesn't confirm anything. 67.180.35.62 (talk) 14:21, 2 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I found another interview conducted after her birthday in 2021, which lists her as 31:

The previous article mentioned that she was 30 as of January 2021, but that article was published in January of 2021 and her birthday in March. I'm 99% certain that her birth year is 1989. Because she mentions that she is 31 in interviews conducted after March in 2021, I believe this is the correct date. I'm not sure what the issue is here, I think you need to recheck your maths. From the Bustle article you have referenced, Morfydd would have turned 31 on 17th March 2021 (a few days before the article was published), which would make her birth year 1990... 17th March 1990 -> 17th March 2021 = 31 years. She would have turned 32 on 17th March 2022 and will turn 33 in March next year. Your source supports her birth year being 1990, not 1989. Here's another article from GQ from August 2022 stating her age as 32 which, again, supports it being 1990.

It sounds like no one knows the precise birthdate, right? I would recommend using Template:Birth based on age as of date. Precision isn't that important here, whether or not it says age 31-32 or age 32-33, it gives readers a fair idea of how old she is. Her birthday is cited everywhere online as being 17th March and that's never been questioned or disputed, it's just her birth year that there appears to be some discrepancy with as some sources state she's currently 32 (Bustle, NY Mag via Vulture, GQ) but some state she's 33 (the Glamour article you sourced) - 32 seems to be much more frequent though and used in more reliable sources (for example NY Mag is deemed a generally trustworthy source here whereas Glamour isn't even listed as a perennial source), so her birth year is either 1989 or 1990. I'm going to amend the template slightly as it's currently stating 33/34 and 1988/1989 which is incorrect, there's no source online that states her being 34 so 1988 doesn't even appear to be an option for her birth year, the template should state 32/33 and 1989/1990. Agreed. It's either 1989 or 1990. I'm happy to be wrong though if we can get a definitive confirmation that she's born in 1990. She was in Cannes on 14 April and in this interview she says she is 33. If her birthday is really on March thats definitive 1990. Bastila87 (talk) 17:37, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
