The article only provides a single side of the "controversy" and relies on one-sided news sources. This sentence is supported by a citation from C. Richard King, a PhD anthropologist and professor who is the leading expert on the topic of this article. It is not an opinion, but represents the current consensus by the social sciences that the use of Native American mascots by sports' teams is a form of racism.--WriterArtistDC (talk) 01:20, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
