Is there any reliable reference other than the high-school Hall of Fame site (which, incidentally, is now gone, or at least 404 at that domain) that can prove Jenke was drafted into the NHL? A handful of sites make the claim he was drafted by the Blackhawks, but the various records of NHL entry drafts of the era (I checked 1964 through 1971 inclusive, here on Wikipedia and on Wikipedia's primary source material for those pages) make no mention whatsoever of Jenke. While I don't doubt he may have been offered some sort of deal to play professional hockey (which he clearly turned down in any event), Jenke's collegiate hockey career was, by at least one account, "not noteworthy" <http://www.startribune.com/multi-sport-athletes-best-in-recent-memory-at-the-u/42856692/>, which doesn't suggest to me that an NHL team would have been clamoring for his services, even at the bottom end of the draft.
