That tag has now lapsed, but very little more has been added. I don't think that the fact that he has written five books really counts as an "indicat[ion] why its subject is important or significant", unless we are assuming that all authors are "important or significant". Two of these books were published by Cambridge University Press. I think it would be a cold day in hell, to find a reputable editor who would not find Sameulson notable. Hi Hrafn, I agree with the current inadequate state of the article. I have also noted that Samuelson is quite an accomplished person. However, I personally never heard of him before. Thus, I am still in the stages of learning about him. My attention was drawn to the article about him because it was being considered for deletion. In my opinion that would be unfortunate.
