Death and term end

The current version says he died on May 7 and (in this recent uncited change) his term ended on May 6 (the day he was shot), which would be unusual. French Wikipedia puts both on May 7. Latest Britannica article has May 6 for his death. I don't know where to go for a definitive cite. David Brooks (talk) 21:41, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
