Should Roman Tsepov and Anatoly Sobchak be in the list? How about Anatoly Chubais, he worked in SPb Majoral office as well (not for very long though) Alex Bakharev 02:13, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Neither Sobchak nor Tsepov or Chubais have enjoyed promotion under Vladimir Putin, unlike those listed. Frankly, whether Kudrin is appropriate here is also not clear. Colchicum 02:25, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've made the following changes:

• Minimize the lead by moving opionated statements, etc. to the article body (to the "Overview" and "Opinions" chapters.) I think the lead should be as general and neutral as possible (larger discussions should not take place there)
• Added a background chapter
• Moved "history" to further below (I think it's not as important as describing the (then) current situation under Putin's presidency.)
• Added a graphic about the groups based on page 34 of the book "Developments in Russian Politics Vol 6."
• Added more information about the various groups using John P. Willerton's article from the book as a source

1. Can we remove the confusing and pov tags now? I think the article has got better after the recent edits.
2. Should we use present or past tense consistently? Some of this information is still current under Medvedev's presidency, but I think all our sources describe the situation under Putin, which is now in the past. My opinion is that we maybe should use past tense everywhere.
