Wouldn't "pop-culture tourism" encompass a wide range of touristic activities in Los Angeles, New York, London, or Tokyo in particular as well as other cities? Death2Objectivism 16:07, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article mentions The Louvre as a popular tourist destination, as a result of the popularity of

. This seems to be a dubious claim, as the Louvre has been a popular tourist destination in Paris for many years. I would venture to guess that very few people visit The Louvre because of the Dan Brown novel, instead hoping to see priceless works of art. I'm removing the reference for now, unless someone can provide a valid reason to keep it.

The JA link is about seichijunrei 「精緻順礼」and is more specific to that particular topic from a Japanese subcultural context.
