Hi! Glad to review another nomination of yours. Will get to this shortly. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 07:41, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

  • We generally don't include citations in the lead. They go into the main text. All the facts of the lead should be present in the main text.
  • In total he made 285 appearances "He made a total of 285 appearances"?
  • a full senior cap Can this be wikilinked?
  • when writing his own autobiography If McLean writes an autobiography it can only be his own. So "own" is redundant.

Club career

  • Start the main text with the person's full name
  • superior academic progress "superior" could be better reworded as "remarkable".
  • "Striker" could be linked

Dundee United

  • This section is very long. Please divide this into subsections
  • Link Dundee United, equaliser, matchday squad, hamstring
  • Aged 18 he scored his first goal --> He scored his first goal at the age of 18
  • in the UEFA Cup. Add the citation at the end

Charlton Athletic

  • "Charlton Athletic" is a duplicate link

Bristol City

  • The 1987–88 link is a duplink

Manchester United

  • Duplinks: First Division, Nottingham Forest, Old Trafford
  • Milne remained on United's payroll until 30 June 1991, when he was released. Source?

International career

  • Milne made his debut Would be good to put his age explicitly here.

Style of play

  • Another former Dundee United teammate, Davie Dodds You should have mentioned that Hegarty was a former Dundee United teammate, and used "another teammate" for Dodds.

Personal life

  • Can we have the full names and possibly some idea about the background of his wives?
    • No background information exists for his wives I don't think, but I added a sentence for his last long term girlfriend. His two sons issued a notice of thanks to Dundee United following Milne's death, but I imagine his former wives might not want to be described in his Wikipedia article anyway, with him being such a difficult partner and all.--EchetusXe 15:12, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Duplink: Jim McLean
  • He died Say "Milne died", lest "he" be confused with McLean

That should be all. Good luck! Sainsf <^>Feel at home 09:37, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Update: A bit busy now, I think I will be able to get to this only by the end of this week. Cheers! Sainsf <^>Feel at home 18:42, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks for the suggestions.--EchetusXe 15:13, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I notice no more issues in the article. Glad to promote this. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 15:51, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
