New Ralph Wolfe Cowan bio page.

Dear Edwardx,

It seems you put a little work in here, for which I should thank you, but may I suggest you get back here and finish the job properly.

A couple of hints:

You have duplicated the Personal life sections, one should be sufficient.

Unless you have a citation that actually says his best known work is the Visionary, I suggest you use a world view per

WP:MOS. That would make his best known works his Graceland
Elvis portrait seen by over 20 million people, or the "legendary portrait" (Cowan's words) of the Monaco royal family, also seen by millions (and in your web citation). A few thousand at most have seen the Mar a Lago work. Don't need to get into an editing conflict here, so please do some homework and I will abide by a cited best known work as determined by you.

Please note: It was mis-directed from the Ralph Wolfe Cowan page by Hullaballoo Wolfowitz in August 2017, which is where I found the page. Tantamount to vandalism. This was pointed out to some senior editors. The man is a world renowned artist for heavens sake, and his bio page is hihacked for over a year, reducing him to one actually minor piece, though for a somewhat notable person.Tongue-in-cheek

Your separation of Career I believe is not appropriate. The army was not his career, and your separation here caused a lost citation as pointed out by the BOT [citation needed]. Please return the citation or consider removing the career.

I would wait (was waiting) for a good obit in a Newspaper of record

I threw this quick bio together from a blank page with a redirect in 45 minutes, including a picture of mine, and longhand citations, intending to finish the job when I got home to a bigscreen. In that time you made more than a dozen edits with no finite conclusion. I believe you deserve that privilege.

fyi, he was a personal friend for 30 years, there's going to be some editing.

To be clear, I'd be much happier working with you than re-editing you. I don't do the barnstar or self-accolade thing, it's all yours.

Look forward to hearing from and co-operating with you, Ssaco (talk) 04:07, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Ssaco. Meant to do more last night, but fell asleep. Surprised that the only mention of his death so far is an Italian site. Will get back to it later today. Edwardx (talk) 08:57, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
