Importance

This is an important article. Reid Fliehr has been acknowledged by Ric Flair to be planning to become a wrestler himself. However, most of what is currently here is pov. I doubt he's hated by most of any school unless they are jealous of what he's been able to do. I do remember his incident from a few years ago where he was suspended from school for getting DQed in a match and he has won tournaments. Ric Flair's book mentions it. If he has poor grades and low SAT scores, that doesn't really matter. None of that stuff means anything in the real world. Heck, plans are for SATs to be eliminated. It sounds like this article contains defamation. I guess somebody pulled a prank just like what happened with that retired journalist that supposedly killed JFK and RFK and was a communist. 205.166.61.142 15:08, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe we should delete this article and bring it back in a few years when it is more relevant, to keep the defaming, comment-modifying vandal out. 205.166.61.142 16:00, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think this article would be more appropriate in a few years: he does have an
IMDB entry, though. EVOCATIVEINTRIGUE TALKTOME | EMAILME | IMPROVEME 16:05, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply

If this article isn't important, then why do Brook and Nick Bollea have articles? Just because they have an enterntainer as a father doesn't mean they need a page. They haven't done anything to deserve a page. I know what you are going to say; Brooke has a new album out. But what has it done? How many records has she sold? Why do they get articles when they haven't done anything while Reid was actually on t.v.? Maybe we could put what he did in WCW in an article and add to it when he does other things. Whta do ya'll think? MgHoneyBee 01:33, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reid Flair appeared "many times throughout the 90s" for WCW?

I don't know about anyone else, but I feel this is an incorrect and misleading statement. Never mind the fact Reid was only between 10 & 12 years old at the time of his appearances; he only made two viable appearances with the company. I've edited the artice to better quantify this. He died.

Yes someone needs to update the article about his termination from the world. Most likely it was a drug OD but wait to find out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.93.4.47 (talk) 18:18, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it 'most likely' to have been an OD? Because he was young, or because he was a wrestler? That's pure speculation until we receive word that indicates otherwise. Sadly, at least one user (93.205.92.9) has edited the Death section to say it "may have been" a drug overdose, which I've since reverted. Yes, but it equally "may have been" genetic heart failure, or it "may have been" electricution, or one of any number of things. Until we get any further information, it's important to keep baseless conjecture away from the article.2.31.10.29 (talk) 22:29, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The "initial belief" is verifiable. Whether that was the actual cause of death, or where the belief came from, is a different story. But nothing speculative, in an original research way. InedibleHulk (talk) 23:24, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

2005 NCHSAA Regional Fight

In 2005 Reid was disqualified during the semi-finals of the 4A Western Regionals in the semi-finals. Reid had lost in Sudden Victory to the opponent from South Mecklenburg HS. These 2 schools are only a few miles apart and these 2 had competed earlier in the year in a 1 point match. At the end of the match the opponent from South Mecklenburg did the "strut" that Reid's father used in in his profession directly TAUNTING Reid. Reid through his headgear, then charged the opponent while missing. Chaos immediately ensued. There were recommendations for both wrestlers to be qualified but that was overruled by the official on the whistle for the match. This allowed the individual who initiated the situation to compete the following week in the state tournament while Reid was fully eliminated from the regionals. This is something that has needed clarification for a number of years. My sources is that I was involved with the match. 136.57.56.3 (talk) 06:30, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
