Bankruptcy and his wife was ill
I read in a newspaper that Jaeckel was forced to file bankruptcy in early 1994 due to a $1.7-million debt which resulted in the loss of most of his possessions and home in Brentwood, CA. He later moved into the Motion Picture and Television Retirement Center in Woodland Hills where he stayed for the next three years until his death in June 1997.
His wife, Antoinette, was also diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease shortly before his death. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.155.75.138 (talk) 11:51, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
Not the same thing. MM in text, Navy in infobox. 70.161.8.90 (talk) 01:17, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
- Furthermore, it says Merchant Marine til 1949 in the body but til 1948 in infobox. One of them is wrong.MisawaSakura (talk) 19:44, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
