"Rich" or "Rick"?

There were 2 stub articles for obviously the same guy, here and

Rich Volk. I made that one redirect here; the linked-to databases are in disagreement, one each for "Rick" and "Rich". I kept this one because it was slightly more developed; if I made the wrong choice, feel free to fix it. Studerby 01:38, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply

I will review this. Note that I am not an expert with good article nominations, but I will try my best. wirenote (talk) 21:17, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ref #5 is a redirect.
  • Do you think this source would be useful?
  • So many sentences begin with "Volk ..." which gets to be repetitive. Consider adding some "He ..."s or rearranging sentences.
  • "Volk began working as a manufacturer's representative while still playing football. He continued in that business after retiring from football." Repetition of "football"
  • "Volk did more than sit on the bench at Michigan." seems a bit too hokey for an encyclopedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wirenote (talkcontribs) 22:35, 13 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review! I've partially done this, will finish in the next couple days once I find time to take a look at the new source. Wizardman 02:26, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Finished the rest. Looked over the reference, and it's essentially the same information as the Ravens 'where are they now' link. Useful for confirming what's in the article, but wasn't able to add anything new. Wizardman 12:42, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
