Trigger

What a terrible Wikipedia entry. Much more must be known about him then this very *poor* effort. He was called Trigger in OFAH because according to Del Boy, he has a face like a horse. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.173.215.90 (talk) 22:56, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

can anyone shed light on where 'colin bell' has been confirmed, being the name behind 'trigger' on OFAH?

Am I wrong or was he also in Murder Rooms/Doctor Bell and Mr Doyle? cyclosarin 02:17, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"On British television he was best known for portraying Colin "Trigger" Ball "

There appears to be NO source for this 78.105.243.205 (talk) 18:24, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Pinter

I noticed that RLP was onstage at the recent Harold Pinter Tribute at the National Theatre. Perhaps this should be added to his stage performances?Basmatazz (talk) 14:35, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(?over) hasty recording here of his death

What a shame that editors can't wait a second after the announcement of someones death to get on to wiki and score a coup by changing the page details to include his death date, without bothering to check the rest of the page to change things like "he currently resides.....". I was going to address your concern, but I think others have got in first. I hope you agree with what they have done, but if you don't it's open to you to correct / improve it. I think the bigger point is that there are many people - some of them even contributors to Wikipedia - whose feel their lives have been mightily enriched by an actor whom most of them have never met. That's a good aspect of our mass media celebrity obsessed age, surely. Any death is sad (well, maybe it's not always that simple, but as a starting point...). However, at least in this case there are clearly a huge number of people who think the life of the deceased needs and deserves to be celebrated (and even recorded in Wikipedia). That's good too. Or?
