I don´t think it is correct to classify Zuckowkis songs for adults as
Liedermacher, comparable to Reinhard Mey for instance. German Schlager comes in two different flavors: danceable, with monotone beats and lyrics about lost and found love (look up Andrea Berg for instance), or simple melodies with sentimental texts about love of course and Heimat (see Hansi Hinterseer).
