Sources and tone issues

There is only one source listed in the entire article. For some reason it appears that a hit and run editor decided to delete the only portion of the article with a source (and it seems to be a credible source). The remainder of the article is completely unsourced with some significant redundancy. In fact, much of the article reads like a PR blurb. It doesn't have an appropriate tone for an encyclopedia article.

I will attempt some basic cleanup, but sources will still need to be added. Some of the basic information may not require extensive inline references, but specific claims such as delivering the subpoena need to be sourced. I removed specifics about the organizations Edmisten seems to have been involved with. Basic information may be appropriate here, but details about those organizations would fit better under an article on those organizations (assuming they are important enough to merit articles). This article should remain focused on Edmisten. I also removed the Secretary of State wikilink - North Carolina Secretary of State is wikilinked in the first line and is a much more appropriate link for this article.

I'm sure this still needs work, but it is marked as low priority so it may be a while. LUxlii (talk) 17:22, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
