(link to a) photograph of Gillis

I added a section to the article called "Photo of Gillis with his wife (2011)". The material in that new section does not contain a photo (at this time). It does contain a

which is a very nice photo of Gillis with his wife (taken in the spring of 2011).

This "Talk:" page was basically empty until now, of any actual "Talk:" material, -- unless you count some boilerplate type material in some standard boxes that seem to be parameterized macros, or whatever they call those things, that are represented in the wiki markup by some stuff in double {{curly braces}} -- e.g. "{{Image requested|people}}", and [in some cases] seeming to have parameters, such as "|needs-photo=". Hence I thought that a link to a photo would be better than no hint of a photo at all. One of those macros, or whatever they are, expands to a (sub-?) boxlet that says:

"It is requested that an image or photograph be included in this article to improve its quality."

I would not even know where to begin, to find out how to find out how to determine the copyright holder of the photo, and to proceed (if appropriate) with the steps after that. (Someone else is welcome to do that, if willing and able). However, I am relying on the assumption that including a

copy
of that same photo (without some kind of license or permission) might be an infringement of the legal rights of some copyright holder.

I did notice that the infobox for this article has a sort of place-holder ("IOU") picture, like this:
which links to File:Replace_this_image_male.svg, -- and that [sorta "how-to" web page] contains some stern warnings such as << "The vast majority of images on the Internet are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia. We can only use images submitted by the copyright holder" >>, etc. I think the copyright holder might well be willing to allow Wikipedia to distribute (under the GFDL and the CC-BY-SA license) that recent picture as part of this article; or, the same might be true of the owner of some other photo of this person. However, I do not know how to determine that (even if I did know, or learn, who the copyright holder is), nor how to document in writing or digitally the granting of permission (if any) by the copyright holder, nor do I have experience doing the technical steps (like uploading to Wikimedia commons) that apparently would come after that. If someone is willing and able to do that stuff, then "by all means", go for it. I don't think I have the time, and I don't think would I know where to start.

But meanwhile, that
