I reverted a version almost certainly written by the company (available here). It had some good information but was largely written as fluff. It would be a good resource if anyone wants to integrate it properly into the article... presumably they released the text under the GFDL when they posted it here so we can use it. --W.marsh 14:00, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, a lot of it was written by Schwan staff, but that doesn't mean you should completely undo their additions. Instead, take what they contributed and make it better. Now it's a stub again, and no one likes stubs. Please undo your revert and only change or take out what you think is non-encyclopedic text. Also, I checked the Schwan web site and could not find this same text, so as far as I could tell they did write this specifically for Wikipedia; it doesn't look like copyrighted text. I spent a lot of time already improving upon their text and I hope you will too.   JEK   Tuesday, April 30 2024 at 19:36
Anyone can do that... I will if I have the time. --W.marsh 19:04, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can anyone find information on why the Schwans family is so secretive (Marvin Schwan himself gave no interviews after 1982)?

Just Eliminate this Article Because It's just a Sales Piece

Rather than leave this up for years waiting for it to become impartial and informative, or continue to allow Schwan to gradually and thoroughly edit out any information it deems undesirable, just delete it. The company is diligently revising it to keep it a current marketing piece, which should not be tolerated by Wikipedia. Alternatively, Wikipedia could disclose that it has some kind of marketing relationship with Schwan that allows this article exemption from wiki rules. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.171.190.119 (talk) 23:03, 23 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Move to Yelloh

This page should be moved given the rebranding.Ulmanor (talk) 14:28, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Contradictory sentences

The last sentence of the first paragraph ("Schwan's Company no longer owns the home-delivery business that was known as Schwan's Home Service, which is currently rebranding to Yelloh.") seemingly contradicts the first sentence of the second paragraph ("The Schwan's family maintains 100 percent ownership of Minnesota-based Schwan’s Home Service, a privately held, independent entity traced to the company’s home-delivery business launched by Marvin Schwan in 1952"). Or are there two businesses; one that was sold off and another that was maintained by the family? Dewey Finn (talk) 20:48, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
